Marilyn Escobedo is a multidisciplinary artist from Inglewood, CA., who uses various mediums such as oil, acrylic, and enamel paints. She also utilizes paint chips, screen printing, and found objects in her work. Her body of work has been a personal journey that has led to an investigation of her ancestors’ history and the embracing of ancestral art, the discovery of her Latinx identity, and an acute awareness of the inequity across social groups in the current political climate.
