ABOUT FMSBW GALLERY

FMSBW Gallery is a project directed by Matt Gonzalez in San Francisco, and Sarah Schoenberger in Los Angeles.

Gonzalez is a long-time art collector whose own collection includes over 500 paintings and sculptures. He has curated numerous exhibitions, written art reviews and catalog essays for various publications and galleries, and has donated paintings to museum collections in California and Texas.

Schoenberger is an interdisciplinary artist, specializing in mostly mixed media. She has coined the sound and aesthetic behind the descriptor “cottagenoise” with her unique style as well as experimental music project Liminal Box. She earned her BFA at Otis College of Art and Design.
