Alex Garcia is a contemporary artist based in San Francisco, California. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, his childhood years were spent in Chicago and New York City. Trained as an architect he began designing furniture in 1988 and later started making wall constructions. Garcia works with both new and discarded construction materials including wood, metal, glass, and resin.
This work showcases the understated elegance of texture and grain.
